I was so happy to be there. At first, I thought it would be difficult to go into a Dutch person’s home and that they didn’t like refugees. But as soon as I was there, I felt like I was with my family. I hadn’t expected this much attention.
They were very nice people, the food was tasty, the gentleman played the guitar for us. We also tried to learn a few Dutch words. I’d like to do it again.
