It was very pleasant. We cooked rice with chicken together, which was very tasty. We also made apple pie together and we were given the leftovers to take with us. They were nice people and didn’t ask uncomfortable questions. This is important initiative for us, because we get to know the Dutch culture and how these people live.
We are also learning to understand the new language a bit better. We’d like to do it again if we can.
